Why You Need An Adzenture Yoga & Wellness Retreat!

I experienced my second yoga & wellness retreat, post-pandemic. For all of my self-care and wellness enthusiasts, I would like to thank you for looking inward and honing in on the importance of self-care. Sometimes life has a way of sucking you in that day-to-day routine of career, or school, parenting, being a caretaker for an aging parent, or being a significant other to a spouse. I think a lot of us received that during Quarantine 2020. Quarantine slowed the whole world down. I stopped traveling, going to church, going to brunch, no baby showers, weddings, birthday dinners, or concerts or festivals. What else do you do when you take away the things you enjoy with the people you love and enjoy? For me, I took road trips, started a garden, and grew some veggies, and I looked within I started meditating. Outside of being in quarantine, another way to unwind, and look within is with a yoga and wellness retreat. The theme of the retreat I attended was Awake and Ascend and I did just that, “Letting Go of the Past to Awake and Ascend to my Future."

Here are 5 reasons you need an Adzenture Retreat!

  1. You need an Adzenture Retreat to Look Within.

  2. You need an Adzenture Retreat to Connect.

  3. You need an Adzenture Retreat for Adventure.

  4. You need an Adzenture Retreat for Intention Setting.

  5. You need an Adzenture Retreat to Manifest Your Dreams.

Heart Pose-The Power of Love

My first yoga & wellness retreat was in 2019 in Costa Rica, I loved it, and I fell in love with Costa Rica. So you may ask, "why did I attend a wellness retreat, so let's see, "I work full time and run a small business full time, now I have added blogging to my resume, and now I am dating. On top of work, I am involved with outside groups that require my time and attention as well. As a black girl under construction, this 40-year-old working grind is real, and I realized I needed some self-care i.e., a break.

On Sept 3-6 2021, I attended the Awake and Ascend Yoga & Wellness Retreat put on by Adzenture Retreats hosted by Azma Ousmand and Chocolako in Sedona, Arizona. This was Adzentures first retreat since the pandemic started March 2020. I was excited to reunite with the founder/host and to meet new people on their journey.
